Welcome to PuranaQilla, a women’s clothing marketplace based in Pakistan. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, mobile platform, and services.
By visiting or placing an order on PuranaQilla, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using our platform immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002, the Consumer Protection Act 2019, and the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016.
Eligibility
To use PuranaQilla, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Pakistani law.
We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend, or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
Account Registration
You may be required to create an account to access certain features of PuranaQilla. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and up-to-date information.
- Keep your password confidential and not share it with others.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. PuranaQilla will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account due to your failure to keep login credentials secure.
Products and Listings
Product Descriptions
We make every effort to display product descriptions, sizes, colours, and images as accurately as possible. However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings or manufacturing differences.
We do not guarantee that product descriptions are completely free of errors. If a product you receive is materially different from its listing, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Availability
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue any item without prior notice. If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you promptly and offer a full refund or an alternative.
Seller Conduct
PuranaQilla operates as a marketplace. Sellers listing products on our platform agree to:
- Provide accurate product information and honest descriptions.
- Not list counterfeit, prohibited, or misleading products.
- Comply with all applicable Pakistani laws including consumer protection regulations.
PuranaQilla reserves the right to remove listings and suspend seller accounts that violate these standards.
Pricing and Payments
All prices on PuranaQilla are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. The price displayed at the time of checkout is the price you will be charged.
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. PuranaQilla does not store your payment card details on our servers. You agree to pay all charges incurred through your account, including applicable delivery fees.
In the event of a pricing error on our platform, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
Orders and Confirmation
Placing an order on PuranaQilla constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email or message from us.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or product unavailability. If your order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund within a reasonable time.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on your location within Pakistan. PuranaQilla is not liable for delays caused by courier services, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control.
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for orders lost or delayed due to incorrect information provided by you.
Delivery charges, if any, will be shown clearly at checkout before you confirm your order.
Returns and Exchanges
Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return or exchange within 7 days of receiving your order, provided that:
- The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
- The item has all original tags attached.
- The item is not from a final sale or non-returnable category.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Undergarments, swimwear, and intimates for hygiene reasons.
- Items marked as final sale at the time of purchase.
- Items damaged due to customer misuse or improper care.
Return Process
To initiate a return, contact us at puranaqillaofficial@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and the reason for the return. We will guide you through the process and arrange collection or drop-off as applicable.
Refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 working days after the returned item is received and inspected.
Cancellations
You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched. Once an order is out for delivery, it cannot be cancelled. To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible at puranaqillaofficial@gmail.com.
If a cancellation is approved, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Prohibited Use
By using PuranaQilla, you agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose under Pakistani law.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews or content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user’s account.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scraping software on our platform.
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or damages the platform’s functionality.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our staff.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension and, where required by law, referral to relevant Pakistani authorities under PECA 2016.
Intellectual Property
All content on PuranaQilla, including logos, images, text, and design, is the property of PuranaQilla or its content partners. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission.
Sellers retain ownership of their own product images and descriptions but grant PuranaQilla a non-exclusive licence to display and promote their listings on our platform.
Limitation of Liability
PuranaQilla provides its platform on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Pakistani law, we are not liable for:
- Any indirect or incidental loss arising from your use of our platform.
- Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.
- Errors, interruptions, or delays in our services.
- Actions or omissions of third-party sellers or delivery partners.
Our total liability to you in any matter related to our platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint or dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at puranaqillaofficial@gmail.com. We will try to resolve the matter within 14 working days.
If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan. Consumers also have the right to approach the relevant provincial Consumer Protection Council or the e-commerce consumer court established under Pakistani law.
Privacy
Your use of PuranaQilla is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this document and notify you by email or through a notice on our platform.
Continued use of PuranaQilla after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any update, you should stop using our services.
